“Living is Giving Award” Winner Fernando Spindola is helping the homeless by supporting Dare to Care for the Homeless as a volunteer and donor. He and the charity are currently holding a food drive to help feed hungry woman and children in the Downey area. The food drive is a citywide event with dozens of businesses involved in promoting, collecting and distributing food that will be given to the less fortunate. The charity's goal is to collect more than one ton of food to benefit people experiencing homelessness.
Hardworking . . . successful . . . a man with a gold heart . . . these are the powerful words colleagues and acquaintances use to describe Fernando Spindola, Realtor® at INTERO Real Estate Services located in Downey, California. Mr. Spindola is always looking for a way to give back and serve others. When he was given the opportunity to get involved with Dare to Care for the Homeless he enthusiastically agreed to support the worthy cause. He then went above and beyond by getting his friends, family, and colleagues involved in the charitable work.
The Downey Food Drive 2017 will be hosted by several retail establishments in the City of Downey. Donation drop off locations will be chosen to host a box for one month. During this one month period, businesses will ask their customers for donatations to this worthy charity and its volunteers will promote the drive with community outreach efforts and digital marketing.
If you would like to learn more about hosting a donation station box at your place of business or would like to volunteer, please contact Jose Rodriguez at (562) 334-2971.
